What are words??

What Are Words - Chris Medina

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I'll be there
Anytime you whisper my name, you'll see
How every single promise I keep
Cuz what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

What are words
If you really don't mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they're only for good times
Then they don't
When it's love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we're gone

And I know an angel was sent just for me
And I know I'm meant to be where I am
And I'm gonna be
Standing right beside her tonight
And I'm gonna be by your side
I would never leave when she needs me most

What are words
If you really don't mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they're only for good times
Then they don't
When it's love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we're gone

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I'll be there
And I'm gonna be here forever more
Every single promise I keep
Cuz what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

I'm forever keeping my angel close

Rodney said:

"When I heard the story of Chris and Juliana, the words and music just flowed," Jerkins said. "Sometimes a song is more than a song and that's really true with 'What Are Words.' "

What is CD ROM ?

CD-ROM (Compact Disc, read-only-memory) is an adaptation of the CD that is designed to store computer data in the form of text and graphics, as well as hi-fi stereo sound.
The original data format standard was defined by Philips and Sony in the 1983 Yellow Book. Other standards are used in conjunction with it to define directory and file structures.
Format of the CD-ROM is the same as for audio CDs: a standard CD is 120 mm (4.75 inches) in diameter and 1.2 mm (0.05 inches) thick and is composed of a polycarbonate plastic substrate (underlayer - this is the main body of the disc), one or more thin reflective metal (usually aluminum) layers, and a lacquer coating.
Today, CD-ROMs are standardized and will work in any standard CD-ROM drive. CD-ROM drives can also read audio compact discs for music, although CD players cannot read CD-ROM discs.
CD-ROM Data Storage

Although the disc media and the drives of the CD and CD-ROM are, in principle, the same, there is a difference in the way data storage is organized.

Data storage

Two new sectors were defined, Mode 1 for storing computer data and Mode 2 for compressed audio or video/graphic data.

CD-ROM Mode 1

CD-ROM Mode 1 is the mode used for CD-ROMs that carry data and applications only. In order to access the thousands of data files that may be present on this type of CD, precise addressing is necessary. Data is laid out in nearly the same way as it is on audio disks: data is stored in sectors (the smallest separately addressable block of information), which each hold 2,352 bytes of data, with an additional number of bytes used for error detection and correction, as well as control structures.

CD-ROM Mode 2

CD-ROM Mode 2 is used for compressed audio/video information and uses only two layers of error detection and correction, the same as the CD-DA. Therefore, all 2,336 bytes of data behind the sync and header bytes are for user data. Although the sectors of CD-DA, CD-ROM Mode 1 and Mode 2 are the same size, the amount of data that can be stored varies considerably because of the use of sync and header bytes, error correction and detection. The Mode 2 format offers a flexible method for storing graphics and video. It allows different kinds of data to be mixed together, and became the basis for CD-ROM XA. Mode 2 can be read by normal CD-ROM drives, in conjunction with the appropriate drivers.

Here are 5 golden rules to make sure than even long distance cannot be a deterrent for your relationship….

Communicate regularly
Communication is the key ingredient for any relationship. If you and your man are always in touch with each other, then nothing can break it. Do not hide anything from your man. Even if you disagree on certain issues make it known to him.
Do things together
Make sure that you do things together, inspire of the distance between you and him. Call him up to know his schedule. If on a particular time and day if he is going to go out to shop then you too do it. This way you would feel some amount of closeness.
Don’t control
Don’t tell your man whom to talk to and how much or when to meet. Don’t dictate terms of the relationship. Don’t let him think that he is being controlled by you. Let him be the best judge of the situation and handle it all by himself.
Have your own life
You and him both are separate entities. Leads you own life and let him lead his own. Doing things together doesn’t mean all the time. Utilize the time when you are not with your man to catch up with your friends and extended family. Don’t be a cling-film to him.
Be committed
The fact that your man is not physically present with you doesn’t give you the license to be with someone else, even for time pass. Make it known publicly that you are in a relationship and are committed to it. Do not even flirt with someone as it might harm your reputation.

Five Ways to Stay Motivated in your Studies

Many distance learners agree that the most difficult part of studying online is staying motivated. Because students must take the initiative to complete their courses completely on their own, plan ways for yourself to stay motivated before you’re tempted to stray from your books. Use these five motivational tips to stay on task:

     Connect with your classmates.

Visit our MySpace page, Facebook groups, Penn Foster Proud Group on Flickr.com, or even a Yahoo! Group and start conversations with your fellow classmates.
Talk about your day, your studies, whatever will keep you connected, motivated and give you that sense of “classroom” in a virtual environment.
Once you begin talking to fellow Penn Foster students, you may even find a few in your area that will be willing to start a physical study group!  Having the support of your peers during your studies with Penn Foster is extremely rewarding and important..

 Discuss what you learn.

Find a friend or relative who has similar interests or who would enjoy hearing about your studies and let them know what’s going on in your classes.
You’ll understand the material better when you have a chance to explain it out loud and will be motivated to stay on task in order to keep up with the conversation.

   Chart your progress.

Design your own map of completed classes and post it somewhere that is visible daily. There’s a certain satisfaction that comes with watching your goals be accomplished.
When times get hard, you can always turn to your chart and see how far you’ve come.

 Reward yourself.

You get rewarded for good credit and safe driving, why shouldn’t you reward yourself for doing well in your coursework.
Whether it is a night on the town, a new dress, or even a new car, setting up a reward system just may be the extra push you need to succeed.

     Take time for fun.

If you’re spending all your time working, studying, and watching after the kids, you’ll likely suffer in all areas.
Everyone needs some down time to re-group. So, set aside a little time every week for a favorite activity. You’ll be more productive when you return to your work.

How to Solve Relationship Problems

Understand each other's personal values

Misunderstandings and conflicts happen when your values conflict with those of others, and when expectations are not met. You can let others know what your values are by telling them. You can find out about their values by asking questions or observing their actions. Knowing what’s important to others and yourself will avoid unnecessary conflicts

Learn to listen.

All people want to be taken seriously and be appreciated. When you listen attentively without interrupting, you are showing respect. Allow people to tell you about the books they have read, the things they did, and how they feel. Listening will give you the opportunity to learn about their values and expectations.

Show kindness

You can Smile, it is the simplest act to show friendliness. Make others feel your warmth by offering help and kind words. Acknowledge their talents and achievements. Give praise and appreciate their efforts. Show it in your tone of voice, your posture and your actions.

Avoid arguments.

Remove ego and pride. In arguments, people want to prove a point using force, threats, and intimidation causing resentment. In this situation, no one actually wins or benefits. Step back, and look at the situation from a different point of view. You are not submitting, but altering the outcome by letting others see that you are committed to the relationship. You should try to compromise. Forgive people when they make mistakes. If you have made a mistake, admit it, and apologize sincerely.

Give and take

Give what you are comfortable with and accept what other can give. Contribute your time and effort without unreasonable expectations in return. When you do good deeds for others, let that be its own reward so that you don't build resentments

Share your feelings

Ask for what you want and need. People can’t read your mind. Make your request with a smile be direct don't use "hints". Communicate and share your thoughts and feelings with them. Open up, and allow them to understand you.

Develop trust

Trust is the foundation of healthy relationships. Keep your promises. Once people trust you, you can have a healthy relationship.
